No. You can go ahead and purchase a print immediately. The advantage of registering is that you will be able to browse the galleries and save photographs you like in your personal selection folder. Then you can come back to it a few days later and decide what to purchase. If you are not a member, you will not be able to save any information.
Xemival has a good relationship with BarclayCard Business (of Barclays Bank) and they process all our online payments. The payment process is carried out entirely on the BarclayCard Business website using a 128-bit secure SSL encryption - the same used for Internet banking. At no point during the transaction is your credit/debit card information shared with Xemival. However, Xemival will collect your address, e-mail and contact phone number before you are redirected to the BarclaysCard Business website in order to keep you updated on your order and to ensure your photograph is delivered safely.
No. We have a dedicated bespoke service that can help you order any required frame. Just contact us for more information.
Please contact us. We can help you with any personal request.
For our standard service, we use Epson UltraChrome K3 inks on archival medium (Fine Art Museum Baryte Paper or FiberMark Collage Canvas), providing approximately 70 years of archival life - practically a lifetime. For bespoke orders that cannot be fulfilled in-house, printing is carried out in professional digital labs for excellent archival results.
If the photograph is damaged on arrival, please send it back to us within 2 weeks of receiving it and we will deliver you a new one. Before purchasing a photograph, please make sure you are happy with the subject and the overall scene.
Your limited edition print will be signed and numbered by Joseph Eta. When an edition is sold out, that particular photograph will be removed from the online shop and will never be sold again.
The personal story about the image you have chosen to buy will be a surprise for you to read on delivery. We are afraid you will have to wait to see it.
The photographs have been optimised for web display and this greatly reduces the colour range. The colours on screen will also change slightly depending on the configuration of your computer or notebook monitor. Generally the printed images will look richer in colour than the onscreen versions. Please contact us to talk through the different printing options if you have any concerns.
Of course you can. Our policy is to ship the image to you ‘the buyer’ - so before delivering the gift yourself, you can open the package and include a more personal note.
The print you liked was the last edition of that series. I’m afraid we have a strict policy about limited editions. Once they have been sold, they are removed from the website and are no longer for sale.
Yes. If Joseph Eta is away on a photographic trip, all orders will be halted until he returns to sign them. All trips that last longer than a week will be mentioned explicitly on the news section of the site to warn customers of possible delays.
Joseph Eta can do private commissions. Simply contact us to discuss the details.
